Thirunavaya Vairankodu Bhagavaty Theeyattu

A number of procession with folk forms like Pootha & Thira, Pulikkali (tiger dance), Fire dance etc. are gathered here from nearby villages. Most of the teams carry Eratta Kala, the huge decorated effigies of bullocks, Velichappadu & Thalappoli, Kanalaattom (fire walk). fire works are performed after midnight. A small replica of all these are conducted on 15th that is called Cheriya theeyattu. Vairamkode, near Thirunavaya. Malapurum district. Accessible from Kuttippuram.

Thayambaka, Chakyar Kouth, Ottanthullal, Panjavadyam, Thalappoli etc are performed for ten days. Thyolppavakouthu is performed through out the night in all these days.
